Applying for Japanese Schools

 Visa and family register

The student visa required for the language school allows for a full study period of 1 year or 1 year and 3 months. However, the school may extend that period. The maximum period of study at a Japanese language school is 2 years. However, if you are expelled from the course, your visa will no longer be valid.

Speaking Program
This program aims to improve your Japanese conversational skills. Because it teaches correct pronunciation, rhythm and intonation, it is effective for learning long notes, which are particularly difficult for foreigners to learn. 

Errors encountered during the application process

1. The school will review all documents for admission.
2. After receiving the approval letter, apply for a residence permit.
3. After receiving the residence permit, you pay the tuition.
4. It must be submitted from the date of issuance and application of the residence permit.
5. The original certificate will be mailed immediately or delivered through an agency.
6. Check that the name written on the Certificate of Eligibility matches the name written on the passport.
7. After completing step 5, you can apply for a visa at the Japanese embassy in your country. 
8. After arriving in Japan, it is necessary to apply for a ‘resident registration card’ at the immigration office.
9. A ‘resident registration card’ is very important for security to foreigners residing in Japan for a medium or long term. 
10. The photo attached to the resident registration card must be the same as the photo on the school application form.
11. If necessary, you can apply for a work permit while applying for a ‘resident registration card’.

In addition, within 14 days of arrival, students must go to City Hall to complete resident registration and apply for health insurance.

How to Apply to University

However, applicants who have studied English for at least 5 years in a language where English is the primary language must exclude scores received within the last 6 years. Remember.  The entrance examination for international students is referenced by Japanese language schools, universities, and colleges, and is intended to evaluate your academic ability to learn basic Japanese. 

Test Subjects 
Japanese, Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), General Subjects and Mathematics are test subjects. You can choose to take the Japanese or English test, but the Japanese test must be taken only in Japanese.
